New page

== What is a Data Request? ==
A data request is a formal request from a member of the instrument team or community for a STIX data product. These data products give higher resolution observations than the standard quick-look data that are automatically returned to Earth. There are several data products, e.g. L1, L4 Spectrogram, etc. (For a full explanation see ???.) Each data product for each time interval requires its own data request. So if you want both L1 and an L4 spectrogram for a single flare, you must make two data requests.
